Archie returns, with further chapter episodes of appealing and oddly believable coincidence. These baffle and embarrass our hero, but bemuse Cyd, whose resourcefulness saves the day on several occasions. This, and its predecessor, ‘I Don’t Believe it Archie’, are delightful stories that work well. It is difficult to find such quality, readable books for this reading group that are neither exploitative nor repetitive. They are an ideal choice for newly independent readers, keen to build up a reading momentum and range.
