Amelia Fang and the Memory Thief

There is a new respectful understanding between Nocturnia and the Kingdom of the Light following the daring adventure of Amelia Fang and the Unicorn Lords. Now the two kingdoms share their cultures and learning, including a cookery teacher, Mr Sublime, who offers a special reward to Catacomb Academy students. Can Amelia and her friends create and sell cookies that might win them tickets to Pumpkin Paradise Park? Pumpkin crazy Amelia is desperate! However she’s working with Grimaldi and Florence, hardly the most reliable or adept bakers. Then there’s the matter of her sore tooth and Prince Tangine’s bogey bilious attack!

Their efforts to sell their baking do not go well. Furthermore, it seems as though everyone has forgotten Amelia’s birthnight! Then there’s King Vladimir and Queen Fairyweather’s peculiar behaviour, not to mention Florence and Grimaldi’s complete disregard for Amelia. Something is afoot, and it’s not toe juice!

Amelia Fang and the Memory Thief is a blue petalled delight! Laura Ellen Anderson’s ghoulishly glorious graphic images, imagining of the scenes and characters, and witty story are so satisfying. Bookwagon is delighted to welcome the third title of a thoroughly pumpkin perfect, box-of-biscuits-full, series.

Amelia Fang and the Memory Thief

Laura Ellen Anderson

Amelia Fang and the Memory Thief is the third title of Laura Ellen Anderson’s vampire-iciously wonderful early chapter book series. There’s a new understanding following the reconciliation of Nocturnia with the Kingdom of Light, brought about by Amelia and her friends. Furthermore, this extends to classes at Catacomb Academy, where students share new learning and teachers. Mr Sublime, new cookery teacher invites his students to participate in cookery competition with a reward of tickets to Pumpkin Paradise Park. It seems as though Mr Sublime has created the prize for pumpkin mad Amelia. Pumpkins are the reason she’s fallen out with Countess Frivoleeta, her mother. Furthermore, Amelia is concerned that her parents’ vampiric expectations of her are disappointed because of her pumpkin devotion.
However, before long, Amelia has more than pumpkins on the mind. It seems like everyone else has nothing on their minds, certainly not her birthnight, meeting times, or even their own existences! What is going on! Could it be that Amelia and poorly friend Prince Tagine must research ingredients in the royal library? Furthermore what might they find?
Somehow, the pair’s adventures in travelling to Glitteropolis, as told in Amelia Fang and the Unicorn Lords has unravelled something threatening. Could it be that there’s a small ingredient that might prevent a reconciliation between the two kingdoms? Can blue clues help Amelia and Tagine …
Bookwagon welcomes the third title of the Amelia Fang series with a Pumpy Pumpkin sized jolt! What a witty, bogey-licious, engrossing story series. Welcome Amelia Fang and the Memory Thief.
