Anna At War


Anna lives with her family in Germany, but life for Jews has become increasingly dangerous.  Her parents decide to evacuate Anna to England as part of the kindertransport.  Anna settles into her apparently idyllic new life in rural England, living with a farming family.  But soon the war follows her, and she finds herself caught up in a web of betrayal, secrecy and espionage.

Some of the locals begin to believe that Anna is a ‘fifth columnist’.  How can she prove whose side she’s on when she can’t tell anyone the truth? Anna decides that only actions can speak louder than words, and she conjures up a dangerous plan…
