STEALTH Access Denied starts with an ordinary day at school for friends Arun and Sam.  The hum-drum nature of another day is interrupted by the sudden arrival of class rebel Donna.  She informs them that there are plain clothes police at Arun’s house. The three of them bunk off school to check out Donna’s theory and a day of shocking revelations for Arun soon follows.

First of all, it turns out that Arun’s dad is not just a mild-mannered banker.  He’s also a genius inventor behind MANDROID, a machine designed to be undetectable and run search and rescue operations.  But some very evil people have MANDROID in their sights.  In the wrong hands, it could become an undetectable means of delivering weapons of mass destruction.

When Arun’s dad is kidnapped, the children set out to rescue him and prevent his kidnappers from getting away with MANDROID. They turn out to be a super-effective team, much more so that than the forces of law and order.  They stay one step ahead of both the police and the villains alike, through a combination of intelligence and street-smart quick-thinking, and simply being kids.

The action takes place over the period of just one day.  The plot is inventive and the action-sequences are brilliantly done.  There are enough car chases, shoot outs and explosions for any reader seeking non-stop thrills.  The finale death-defying escape is truly spine-tingling, edge of the seat stuff.
