When ‘Limpet’ (real name Liam) moves to the little seaside town of Splottpool, he’s worried. Limpet worries about everything; he has always been a worrier.  Looking at the tiny shop that is to be his mum’s ice cream business, adds to them.  What’s worse, Mum’s idea to have unique ice cream flavours doesn’t sound like a good idea either. To compound Limpet’s concerns, there is an incredibly delicious smelling ice-cream parlour just down the road. Mr Fluffy’s Mega Emporium of Amazing and Spectacular Ice Creams is not only in direct competition with his Mum’s plans, it’s evil owner has visited and vowed to crush their little ice cream business!

So Limpet’s worry meter in running sky high. But there is something strange about Mr Fluffy’s ice cream. How can he make it smell so good? How can he make the colours so bright? And it is delicious, incredibly delicious.

With the help of his new friends and a pet chicken, they reveal the truth. Does this make Limpet’s mum make normal flavours? She is determined to plough on with her strange flavours – cue yet more worries for Limpet.
