You Choose Christmas

There is such bustle and colour, noise and excitement. What will you choose to do as you prepare for Christmas? Will you visit Santa’s grotto and have a hot chocolate? Or maybe you’ll visit Bella’s Bookshop after some carolling? Then again, if it snows, what activity will you choose? Sledding perhaps?

Do you have a favourite decoration upon the tree? Or maybe a favourite card from the designs on offer? What’s more, do you have favourite festive food? Christmas cake or pudding? Sprouts, even?

Bookwagon is delighted to welcome You Choose Christmas aboard. What a delicious addition to the Christmas tradition, a chance to browse, make and refine choices, rhyme and remember and gift too. Bookwagon loves and recommends You Choose Christmas.

You Choose Christmas

Pippa Goodhart and Nick Sharratt

(Penguin Random House)

Isn’t the Christmas season all about choosing? Thereafter what’s your favourite thing about this time of year? Let’s dive into You Choose Christmas.
It might be things to make, from cakes to cards, bird feeders to wreaths. What could you do? Then again, what about treats? It seems there’s such a wealth to linger upon. What’s more, it’s obvious that Santa Claus is in the thick of things! Why you might decide to head to the grotto, or even wave when he visits with his reindeer. Then again, there are carols to sing, trees to choose and hot chocolate to drink!
However, when we consider our special trees, we might have special, favourite decorations! Here, we’re asked to make a choice of favourites across a huge, portrait double page. It reminds us of Pick a Pine Tree! Then again, there are so many other decisions to make, from Yuletide jumpers, to cards, to festive foods!

Bookwagon suggests that You Choose Christmas is a wonderful title to linger over at this special time of year. Then again, it’s a thoughtful and inspiring gift too. We love and recommend this title, a worthwhile addition to a beloved series.
