After The Fall

Accidents happen. Humpty is best known for ‘The Great Fall’ but really it was just an accident. Since that time, he’s found that some parts ‘can’t be put back together again’ and he’s scared. Passing by the wall every day, he is tempted to climb the ladder, but reminded of the accident.

One day, a flying paper aeroplane ignites Humpty’s imagination, and he’s encouraged to try again. He pushes all thoughts of the fall away, swept up in the potential of his plan.

What happens? Will Humpty climb the wall again?

Bookwagon recommends ‘After the Fall‘ to readers of all ages, from early years to adult. Dan Santat’s brave photo-realistic pictures include varying perspectives. We take Humpty to our hearts, and hope there will be a ‘happy ever after’ the fall for him.
